PRP Hair Injections
WHAT TO DO:
- Keep the area clean and dry
Avoid touching your scalp for the first few hours, then gently cleanse with a mild shampoo after 24 hours. - Sleep with your head elevated the first night
Use an extra pillow to help minimize swelling and discomfort. - Use only recommended products
Stick to the shampoos, conditioners, and topicals your provider has approved for the first 48–72 hours. - Expect mild soreness or tightness
Tenderness, mild swelling, or small bumps at injection sites are normal and should improve over a few days.
WHAT TO AVOID:
- No washing or wetting the scalp for 24 hours
Avoid showers directly on the scalp, swimming, and heavy sweating during this time. - Avoid hair coloring and chemical treatments for 3–7 days
No dye, bleach, perms, relaxers, or keratin treatments until your provider’s recommended time frame. - No harsh hair products for 48 hours
Skip sprays, gels, mousses, and dry shampoo that can irritate the scalp. - Avoid strenuous exercise for 24–48 hours
Heavy physical activity and excessive sweating can increase swelling and irritation. - Stay out of saunas, hot tubs, and steam rooms for 48 hours
Heat can increase inflammation and discomfort at the injection sites. - Avoid alcohol and smoking for 24 hours
These can impair healing and blood flow to the scalp. - No scratching, picking, or massaging the scalp for at least 24–48 hours

PRP Under-eye Injections
WHAT TO DO:
- Use cold compresses as needed
Apply a cool (not icy) compress around, not directly on, the injection sites for 5–10 minutes at a time to help reduce swelling and discomfort. - Sleep with your head elevated the first 1–2 nights
Use an extra pillow so fluid does not pool under the eyes and worsen puffiness. - Be gentle with the eye area
When cleansing, pat—do not rub—the skin and use a mild, non-irritating cleanser. - Expect mild swelling or bruising
Puffiness, a “full” feeling, or light bruising is common and usually improves over several days.
WHAT TO AVOID:

Sculptra Aftercare
WHAT TO DO
- Massage the treated area: 4-3-2-1 Rule
- Massage for 4 minutes first day morning/night, 3 minutes next day morning/night. 2 minutes and so on.
- This helps evenly distribute the product and prevent small lumps or nodules from forming under the skin.
- Use a gentle moisturizer or arnica cream if approved by your provider.
- Apply cold packs (if needed)
- Use a cold compress intermittently for the first 24 hours to reduce swelling or discomfort.
- Wrap the pack in a clean cloth — do not apply ice directly to the skin.
- Stay hydrated
- Collagen production is supported by good hydration. Drink plenty of water in the days and weeks following treatment.
- Sleep with your head elevated
- For the first night or two, this can help minimize swelling.

WHAT TO DO
- Gently apply an ice pack wrapped in a cloth for 10–15 minutes every hour for the first day to reduce swelling and bruising.
- Do not apply ice directly to the skin or press hard.Use a cloth or barrier for the ice to touch the skin.
- Use an extra pillow to prop your head up.
- Gently cleanse with mild soap and water. avoid touching or applying pressure.
- Apply cold compresses
- Stay well-hydrated
- Sleep with your head elevated (first 1–2 nights)
- Keep the area clean especially if there’s redness or broken skin from the injection.
- Avoid aspirin, alcohol, Advil. These Increase blood flow and may worsen swelling or bruising.

- Skin is photosensitive after treatment. Apply sunscreen daily, starting the next morning.

- Use a gentle cleanser. Stick to a mild, non-exfoliating cleanser for 1–2 days post-treatment. Pat dry — do not rub the skin.
- Sleep with a clean pillowcase. Helps prevent irritation or contamination of sensitive skin.
